Romantic Bedroom

Before
After

This tiny bedroom was white with a strangely curved ceiling. It now has a romantic cozy feel. The curved ceiling is now a positive feature rather than an eyesore, and the walls and tiny closet reveal wonderful surprises.

Mural of angels and hand painted scrollwork adorn the ceiling.
Faux fireplace with changeable panels according to mood.
Painted decorative moldings around the room.
Cute mouse and hole.
Armoire painted and aged to match fabric.
Painted “silk” robe, shoes, hat, doily, etc in the closet.
Trompe L’oiel love letters and pen painted on the bench.
Faux rug with fake upturned corner fools visitors.
Painted “antique” bed was actually made of MDF board and table legs.
Scented lavender paint lends subtle fragrance.

These are just some of the many transformations done by the artists.
