Hallways and Stairs

Before
After

The hall and stairs were just plain boring with worn wooden stairs and white walls. It has been completely transformed into one the most talked about areas of the house!

Harlequin pattern added to stairs and upper floor.
Painted Trompe L’oeil bookshelves and reading cubby added in window area.
Imbedded quotes from books in the bookshelf on the walls.
Faux “door” seemingly leading into another room at base of stairs expands the space.
Painted skylight on attic access panel.
Antiqued mirrors glued to doors.
Trompe L’ oeil nook with flower vase greets you as you descend the stairs.

These are just some of the many transformations done by the artists.
